Small Update - 0.6.3

EDIT: Uploaded 0.6.3 again since there was a bug on some phones where in Chapter 3, the characters are misplaced (It seems to only happen on tablets and some phones). I added a forced positioning, so hopefully it will not happen again. However for mobile, the saves will be deleted due to the Renpy 7.8 renaming the files uniquely (And I am too scared to change it... so what isn't broken, don't change.). (Also the game will still be labeled 0.6.3 since this is the only change)

As mentioned on twitter, my PC died a few hours ago. TLDR, the infamous blue screen of death, which ruined the drive where the game is being kept. My mistake for saving it my HDD instead of SSD :v 

Well, now I have it fixed, which made me update Renpy so I had to fix a few things to accommodate the updating of the system, I am releasing another short debug update. Didn't help that the android version broke so much :<

So now I am uploading some fixes to the most recent update here. Fixed the issue with Ridge where it error screens after questioning one of his lines (Which you can ignore if you wanted to) and also added a 1/4 chance event on the home screen when finishing the update. Just a sprinkle to the pain :D

So hoping this PC problem doesnt happen again... hopefully... I am going to tear my hair out if it does...

As usual, please let me know in terms of bugs here. But before reporting, I request to please check first if your current file is from a previous version since this one is updated now.

I am playing on PC, with a new file starting from the beginning and doing Jin's route. When I presented the Scriviner badge to promise to protect him, the admiral and scriviner sprites got misplaced. This didn't happen to me before, even if I didn't play Jin's route in the older version. Idk if the other routes have the same problem in this version or if it's only Jin's route.

They stay like this through all Jin's testimony even, having Admiral's arm besides him through all of it.


EDIT: I know you said older files would have problems and you're right, I loaded a Leo run in this moment and it had the same issue, but in the 0.6.2 I didn't have that problem. Hope it is helpful and I'm excited already for the next update when it comes ^^

ah I uploaded a fix for this recently, added an edit above. Will see if I can recreate this bug.... since it is PC, it might be harder.

Omg, the new main menu background was such a good touch!! Even made me tear up a bit.

Also, should I be worried about that 1/4 chance....?

I was thoroughly impressed with this update. No spicey content, but this update was well put together and created some interesting story development. And the gameplay change was a refreshing take for VNs even if I know where the inspiration came from. If this update leads more into the Guild politics and their perspective. And I just love the new hunters we got because Jack is such an intriguing character. I just kind of wish each character didn't jump to the same ideas near the end, but I kind of appreciate the different developments that occurred after.

The end part is more of a teaser and conjoiner for the next update. It will be more individually character focused next update.

I should add I'm really loving Koku as a character. Wasn't my favorite pick early on, but he's slowly becoming one of my favorites with just how off the wall he is at every turn. Definitely has that charm that you can't say no to. And he talked hard smack to the admiral that he might have given the best roast of the cast. My Gog he is precious.

So...do you mean each character will have their own unique "adventure" next update?

Not "adventure" per se, it's similar to the Building bonds update, where going through each route will tell more of their story, rather than the overall plot. 

Because let me clarify a few things: The game focuses on 2 story points: The overall plot which 0.1 and 0.6 does, while the rest is character focused, like the events for 0.2 and 0.4/0.5
